Cash Alert Japan ("the App") is developed and operated by Lumina AI Co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the minimum data necessary to provide its functionality:

• Location data — If you grant permission, your device's GPS coordinates are used to show nearby shops on the map and to prefill the location when you submit a report. Location is processed for display on-device; it is only stored on our servers if you choose to submit a report.
• Shop reports — When you submit a report, the shop's name, location, and the payment methods you select (such as cash-only or card OK) are stored in our database. Reports are submitted anonymously and contain no personal information.

The cash-only genre guide itself uses data that is built into the App and works without collecting any information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID).
• We do not track your location history or movement patterns.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Used to store anonymous user shop reports. No personal information is stored. Supabase Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

The App does not retain personal user data on our servers. Anonymous shop reports become part of the shared public report database. App settings are stored locally on your device only and can be deleted by uninstalling the App.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
